Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has taken to her official Twitter page to share with her fans some images from her new ELLE magazine cover shoot.

The fashion designer, mother and singer will grace the cover of the French edition of ELLE and she uploaded a couple of editorial photographs that were taken of her for the issue at 31 Rue Cambon, which is the home of Coco Chanel.

Beckham tweeted: "First pictures from my @ELLEfrance cover shoot with Karl Lagerfeld, a dream come true! X VB. At 31 Rue Cambon wearing my new optical collection on the iconic @CHANEL staircase shot by @KarlLagerfeld! X vb"

The two images she unveiled show her standing next to Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on a stunning staircase (above left) and then modelling a pair of glasses from her eyewear collection in front of the mirrored wall that frames the stairs (pictured below).

Speaking about the shoot, she said: "I'm honoured to be here in Paris. I love Paris and the French style, so chic. Sometimes I feel a little bit French myself! I am thrilled to shoot with Karl. I have so much respect for him and I find him so inspiring. To shoot in Coco Chanel's apartment in the clothes of the house of Chanel is really a dream come true."
