Irish singer Amy Montgomery releases new single 'Tree Song (Branch Out & Nourish My Veins)'UK/EUROPEAN FESTIVAL APPEARANCES PLUS SEPTEMBER HEADLINE SHOWSOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Wilful Publicity Fresh from stunning debut performances at Glastonbury and Black Deer Festivals, Northern Irish singer songwriter Amy Montgomery has burst onto the scene with not only a captivating live show, but now with her newest single 'Tree Song (Branch Out & Nourish My Veins)'. The song is a self-produced moody, atmospheric journey through soundscapes of delicate trippy undertones complemented by Amy's powerful voice, slowly swelling towards a glowing crescendo that flaunts both her song writing and incredible vocal range. The video acts as the perfect accompaniment, featuring Montgomery's trademark earthy spiritual influences, choreographed with a ritualistic dance, all performed in an abandoned house in the woods, an environment identical to the one painted by the music. You can watch the video here. The first thing that grabs your attention about Amy Montgomery (apart from her Bohemian look) is her raw and beautiful voice, honed from relentless busking across her native Emerald Isle. At 20 years of age, she is already a musical force of nature, performing with great intensity on both guitar and keyboards. Her vocal style channels the spirit of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick but with very modern attitude and spiritual elements in tow. Performing bare footed, adorned in war paint and flamboyantly designed stage outfits, she presents a fearless and confident persona both as a performer and singer. Her latest single is the first taste of a newly crafted musical direction, accompanied by her talented band featuring producer Michael Mormecha (Drums, vocals, percussion) Zach Trouton (Keys, guitars, vocals & percussion) and bassist Benton Flavelle-Cobain. Her previous 2018 track 'Dangerous' also picked up plays on Bob Harris's Radio 2 show as well as various plays across BBC Radio Ulster and ATL. Watch the video here. Amy and her band ventured out for their first European shows in February this year. During the 13 dates, they shared their fresh, alternative sound with fans in Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland and England. This summer will see also Amy performing at a number of festivals throughout the UK and Europe followed in September by her first ever three headline shows in London, Dublin and Belfast as she continues to spread her ethereal sonic bliss.
