Wretch 32 wants to keep fans interested

Wretch 32 has revealed that he is making great progress on his new album and it may even be released as early as next year.

The urban star, who has enjoyed great success so far with his hits 'Traktor', 'Unorthodox' and 'Don't Go', explained to BBC's Newsbeat that he wants to keep fans on his toes with any new music he comes out with and thinks it's important to push forward with new material:

"The thing is, I always want to give the fans fresh music. I don't want to be doing the same show for two years. I just want to do it for six months, but then have new material, and keep it moving. So I'm hoping for a new album next year."

Talking specifically about the time he has spent in the studio recently, Wretch 32 added:

"We've got a few tracks down, but knowing me those ones will probably not even end up on the album. I keep chopping and changing, but right now I feel like I've got two songs that are strong enough for the album, two definite."
