Electronic Darling Joni Fatora Dances with Folk and Indie Rock on Her New EP “Navigator”"Navigator" To Release March 10, 2015
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - On behalf of Black Panda PR - New York, NY - February 16, 2015 - JONI FATORA’s name began popping up in the blogosphere around 2012; after releasing the electronica hit “Bullet Train,” breaking the top 10 on iTunes electronica charts and selling over 200K singles to date. Earlier this year, Fatora’s vocals on Soy Sauce’s track, “Broken Record” also created waves on HypeM, garnering over 300K plays in a week and hitting #2 on the charts. The common thread in these tracks is Joni’s ability to write lyrics that resonate and melodies that stick. This stems from Joni’s deep roots as a folk/indie singer-songwriter. Fatora will be releasing her second EP “Navigator” on March 10, 2015. The acoustic version of “Bullet Train” captures Fatora’s natural, stripped-down sound. The calm, earthy texture of her vocals juxtaposes the imagery and drumbeat of a fast-moving bullet train. Joni is at home as a songwriter and musician with this new five-track EP, taking cues from The National and Jenny Lewis. “Navigator” was written and recorded at Dreamland Studios with her producers, Noise Club (Chris Petrosino and Rob McCurdy). Joni performs at the Studio at Webster Hall in NYC on Saturday, February 28 at 7:30 PM. More Details here.
