The arena rock futurist debuts a new single and video “Break Free,” the title track to his forthcoming debut EP, releasing to digital stores July 2015. He’s also performing those tracks at Piano’s in NYC on July 23 and at Lollapalooza 2015 on August 2.  

Producer Michael Malih (Madonna) and Valentine worked together on “Break Free,” four songs drawing inspiration from glam, grunge and arena rock heroes like Bowie, Nirvana and Queen …. and the writing genius of Rivers Cuomo and Weezer. Four songs discussing friendship, reckless teenage nights and self-empowerment: the perfect summer soundtrack.

Atarah Valentine is from NYC and is committed to redefining rock music for millennials and beyond. The emerging artist is debuting his pure sound on his new EP “Break Free,” in stores this July.  His sound recalls the raw, garage rock of the Velvet Underground merged with commanding vocalists and front men like Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger. “Break Free,” the single, will be available in digital stores beginning July 6.
