For Immediate Release - New York, NY - May 18, 2016 - Dutch Singer-Songwriter Romy plays Rockwood Music Hall, located at 196 Allen Street in NYC on June 8. The show is free and it supports her newly released single "Boy" and forthcoming single "Frail," both now available on Soundcloud.  

She started playing piano and writing songs at age 6 and eventually became a DJ in Amsterdam.  She is classically trained but boasts more about her large house vinyl collection.  She came up as an artist in the vibrant house scene in Amsterdam.  Romy moved to NYC a few years ago to focus on making her music full-time. It took her time and money to write and record with the right people, including Alex Sterling, with whom she co-produced “Boy.”  She also self-released a full-length Unbound in 2014.
