About Company

There are not many people in the music industry who can claim a link between the first hits of Thin Lizzie and Britney Spears. Unless, of course, it is Nick Fleming who broke both of their debut singles at radio.

Fleming’s first hit as an independent plugger in 1985 was with Amii Stewart‘s,  ”Knock on Wood”. In his first year he achieved the rare distinction of plugging the top 2 singles in the chart in the shape of Boris Gardner‘s, “I Want To Wake Up With You” and Sinnita‘s, “So Macho”. It was at that point thatSinnita was signed to Fanfare Records, run by the then unknown Simon Cowell!

In 1988, Nick formed ‘Fleming and Smallman’ with Oliver Smallman. The partnership lasted 5 years and was responsible for hits such as Yazz, “The Only Way Is Up”, and Lisa Stansfield‘s “All Around The World”. Many more hits followed including The Proclaimers‘, “Letter from America” and hits from the girl band, Eternal.

After this partnership ended, Nick introduced ‘Fleming Associates’ to the world, where his his winning streak continued and his top quality promotional plugging talents were maintained. Tracks including “Boom! Shake the Room” and “Summertime” by Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince kept Fleming Associates ahead of the game. Hits from Britney Spears,  Steps, Jools Holland, Katie Melua, Stone Roses, LeAnn Rhymes, Keith Urban, Peter Andre, N*Sync, R Kelly and The Backstreet Boys followed.
