About me
Smokee is a rapper from Harrow, London. He was recently featured on BBC Radio 1 Xtra as Artist of The Week and his new single after being noticed by BBC Introducing. His track ''Rubber Band Pops'' was selected to be played all week on the station. He also did a live interview with DJ Target, talking about his influences for the track and his motivation for making music.
Smokee honed his unique rapping style by laboriously pouring over the best licks and flows from the world’s greatest rappers such as Nas and Big L. Smokee’s ambition grew from there as he began to combine his aptitude for creative lyrics with his natural rhythmic flow to create some of his first tunes, and it was not long before he was performing to bigger crowds.
Smokee stock continues to rise within the UK rap scene and he is beginning to be noticed. It may not be long before Smokee becomes a household name as his first single, ''Rubber Band Pops'' produced by Z Dot, is out now on iTunes.
