Big Mouth Publicity was founded by Steve Phillips and Jakub Blackman following the closure of Coalition, where both had worked for a number of years.
Steve & Jakub started out in the press office at East West Records in 1994. Jakub went on to work as Head of Press at Columbia Records and Steve worked at Island Records and Best- est. Between them they have worked on artists and events such as Bob Dylan, Barclaycard Mercury Prize, Bruce Springsteen, Franz Ferdinand, Tom Waits, Pulp & Jarvis Cocker, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Richard Ashcroft, Paul Oakenfold, Sigur Ros and Tricky.
Rhian Emanuel provides Big Mouth's online service. Rhian started out in the promotions office of Virgin Records in 2006. After working across the radio, television and press departments she finally settled in the online PR department where she worked on artists across the EMI, Virgin and Parlophone rosters. During her 5 years at EMI, Rhian has represented artists including Bryan Ferry, Laura Marling, Jamie T, Katy Perry, Beastie Boys, Empire of the Sun, You Me At Six, Professor Green, Brett Anderson, Little Dragon & Baxter Dury.
The Regional print service is provided by Carl Delahunty, who spent 10 years at Coalition where he represented acts such as The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, The Zutons and Billy Bragg. The start of 2011 has already seen Carl work on high-profile campaigns for White Lies, Glasvegas, The Vaccines and Brother.
Big Mouth Publicity is able to provide a full National, Regional and Online service. The three services are available individually or combined.
