Adam Levine worked on 'Begin Again' movie for free: 'I want to have good experiences'

Maroon 5 heartthrob Adam Levine recently starred in a brand new movie called 'Begin Again', alongside Keira Knightley, and has revealed that he didn't get paid for his role. 

During a new interview with USA Today, the 'Payphone' hitmaker confessed that he worked on the film for no money because he wanted the experience to be something fulfilling rather than something he had to do in order to get paid:

“I did this movie for no money. I'm very lucky that I'm in that position. I want to have good experiences. I don't want to do a bunch of s*** that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money."

Keira Knightley, meanwhile, also spoke about being a part of the movie this week and confessed that it was daunting to sing because she isn't too keen on her voice: "I have preferred it if I'd opened my mouth and Adele's voice had come out... or Shirley Bassey's! If I suddenly found I had either of those voices I'd have been [f**king] thrilled, but it definitely wasn't one of those..."
