Beady Eye have been confirmed to perform on this weekend's The Voice UK semi-final.

The indie group will play their new single 'Second Bite of the Apple' on the TV talent show on Saturday (June 15).

They will perform in front of coaches Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am.

Liam Gallagher and co. meanwhile released their second album 'BE' in the UK on Monday (June 10).

The record managed to hit No.2 on the charts when the midweek update was released on Wednesday (June 12) by the Official Charts Company.

It has been trumped, however, by Black Sabbath's '13' as the veteran heavy metallers find themselves in pole position to land the No.1 come Sunday (June 16).
