Camila Cabello on ditching initial album title "The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving."
Camila Cabello has explained why she decided to move away from the initial debut album title that she had decided on, "The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving."
Speaking to Zane Lowe, she said:
"Everytime that I talked about it in an interview, it just made it really difficult to really move on.
"I don’t want to give that power over to somebody else... that the whole first album revolves around them and this bad situation. It's giving that too much power.
Cabello initially named her album "The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving." as "I was using writing as therapy. The music went through a hell of a ride, because I did, too."
The self-titled album was initially expected to be released in September 2017, but is now set to be released next month on January 2018.
