Emerging South London rapper Eight9Fly flaunts his enviable flow in new music video SMOOTH.

An artist not bound by convention, Eight9FLY has had a career in music that spans over 10 years and several genres. Finding inspiration in anything from classic R&B and Hip-Hop to contemporary soul and grime, Eight9Fly consistently showcases both his versatility and ability as an artist in finessing these varied musical styles.

As well as receiving mainstream radio play via BBC Radio 1Xtra and Kiss FM, Eight9Fly has also gained recognition from key editorials such as SBTV, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and FLAVA.

Over the course of his career, Eight9Fly has collaborated with some of the nation’s most acclaimed acts: P Money, Lady Leshurr, Paigey Cakey, J Warner, Starboy Nathan and, most recently, Moelogo.

Directed by Kristine Danne, the video gives us a brief insight into Eight9FLY’s transition as an artist; sharply shifting between shots of his humble roots and the life of luxury he’s started building for both himself and his community.

Currently, Eight9FLY is working on his highly-anticipated mixtape New Favourite, which will be hitting the airwaves in 2018, alongside a selection of special audio and visual releases.
