Fifth Harmony on 'Faking It' cameo: 'We thought the song we covered was so cute and '90s'

Girl group Fifth Harmony recently filmed a cameo for MTV's hit show 'Faking It' and for their scene they had to perform a song by American boyband New Kids On The Block.

Songstress Camila Cabello confessed that after learning they would be performing 'The Right Stuff', she and the girls checked out the track's original music video and they were surprised to find that it was shot in black and white:

"When we first found out we were doing the New Kids On The Block song we watched the video and it was in black and white, and we thought it was really cute and '90s!"

'Faking It' actor Gregg Sulkin recently opened up about the 'Bo$$' beauties' cameo and told Hollywire TV that it was a delight to have them on set with him: "It was good, they're very talented girls. Some of them are under 18 so it was... they were nice sweet girls. But you can't start looking at under 18-year-olds. I'm sure they had a great time on set. I never went there!"

"They were great, they were honestly fantastic. So professional and all the crew loved them. You never know what you're going to get with a girl group. Obviously I knew because I know them, but you never know as a crew member. You hear about this band and think they might be a little bit annoying or divas, but they were so down to earth and so cool. Their dance routine was great."

The episode in which the girls make an exciting appearance as “an all-girl band with an edge who cover pop music’s most memorable boyband songs" will air in the USA just before Halloween on October 28 and you can check out a snippet of their guest starring role here:
