Fifth Harmony on 1D collaboration plans: 'It's just a rumour, but we hope it's true!'

'Worth It' hitmakers Fifth Harmony have revealed that they would jump at the chance to record a track with heartthrobs One Direction.

During an interview on KISS FM's Breakfast Show, the girls were asked about the reports that suggest they will team up with 1D for a collaboration and admitted that while there's no truth in the rumour, they would love to work with the boys:

"It's a rumour, but we hope it's true. They're so down to earth. It was actually on The X Factor when we first met, and they were so nice. I think they were up performing, and they just went backstage and kind of talked to all the different contestants. And they gave us advice. Yeah, they just told us to make sure we should pretty much stick together. They are such cool guys."

The group's Lauren Jauregui, meanwhile, recently revealed to The Sun newspaper that she was met with vile abuse after being pictured with Louis Tomlinson in a cab during their London trip:

"My phone died and I had no way of getting home so Louis said, 'Jump in a car with me.' We got to know each other that night, it was the first time we really hung out. And he was nice enough to take me back... The amount of hate I got for that picture... I got a slew of things like, 'You're a s**t, you're ugly, you're fat'..."
