NEW HOPE CLUB REVEAL TRACK GOOD DAY
TAKEN FROM THE UPCOMING AARDMAN AND STUDIOCANAL FILM, EARLY MAN
New Hope Club have just revealed their track Good Day, which features on the latest Aardman and STUDIOCANAL film, EARLY MAN. Good Day is an upbeat and anthemic song, and showcases the band’s soulful harmonies and musicianship. You can listen to it here. New Hope Club also covered Mud’s Tiger Feet for the soundtrack. New Hope Club worked with Brad Simpson from The Vamps, who produced both tracks. Good Day and Tiger Feet will both appear on the EARLY MAN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album, which will be released on 26th January. It can be pre-ordered here.
EARLY MAN is the new prehistoric comedy adventure from four-time Academy Award-winning director Nick Park and Aardman, the creators of Wallace And Gromit and Shaun The Sheep. Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Early Man will be released across cinemas in the UK on 26th January.
New Hope Club attended the world premiere of EARLY MAN at the BFI IMAX last weekend, where they were joined by stars of the voice cast including Maisie Williams, Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne and more. The band then performed Good Day, Tiger Feet and their own song Fixed at the official afterparty. See the highlights from the premiere below.
Last year saw New Hope Club release their debut EP, Welcome To The Club. The 4-track EP can be streamed and downloaded here. When announced, the EP shot straight to No.1 in the iTunes Pre-Order Chart and sat there for 3 days, above Kasabian and Harry Styles. It also shot straight to No.2 in the iTunes chart and into the top 5 in 10 countries.
New Hope Club were discovered by The Vamps who quickly signed them to their label, Steady Records, a subsidiary of Virgin EMI UK. The Vamps have been working closely with the guys, to develop their sound and have also taken the band out on tour with them. New Hope Club also partnered with Hollywood Records to release their EP in the USA. Hollywood Records have helped break artists such as Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus.
