IMELDA MAY PLAYS THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL ON MAY 4TH

Imelda May begins her UK tour today  (April 24th) which will include her largest show to date at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on the 4th May, culminating with a triumphant sold out return to the Cheltenham Jazz festival on the 6th May. This UK Tour will mark the end of a two year worldwide album campaign that has seen ‘Mayhem’ sell over half a million copies.

Since the release of Mayhem in 2010 Imelda's list of accolades has grown and grown with highlights including - performing at the opening of the Chanel exhibition in Las Vegas, performing for the Obama's in Dublin,  appearing with Jeff Beck at The Grammy Awards, three appearances on the Jay Leno Show, a number one on the Billboard New Artist Chart and a world tour  - just to name a few!  Other upcoming shows also include the famous ‘Olympia’ in Paris (10th May), the Cork Marquee (9th June) and the inaugural Westport Festival (24th June) on the west coast of Ireland.
