Sia says she is sorry if anyone feels offended by her latest music video.

The singer has unveiled the clip for her new single 'Elastic Heart'.

It sees actor Shia LaBeouf dance topless with 12-year-old child star Maddie Ziegler.

Some onlookers accused the video of exhibiting lewd undertones due to the age of the two subjects.

Sia, however, took to Twitter to stress that those suggestions couldn't be further from the truth.

She wrote: "I anticipated some 'pedophelia!!!' Cries for this video. All I can say is Maddie and Shia are two of the only actors I felt could play these two warring 'sia' self states.

"I apologise to those who feel triggered by #ElasticHeart My intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody (sic)."
