New York-turned-LA electro pop artist, Beca, just released her fashion forward video for “Meteor,” the second single from her upcoming LP.

A graduate of Juilliard, Beca has utilized her composition talents to produce “trance-like pop” (Lucky Magazine) songs tailored to Generation Y’s neo-noir nightlife culture. Expanding on EP releases via UK label This Is Music Ltd. (Little Boots, Charlie XCX), Beca is set to release her debut full-length album Ecliptic on October 22nd through Los Angeles Indie Record Label All Scene Eye. Tying in with the cosmic theme of the album, each song/remix/video will be released on a celestial event. Developing her “wispy, ethereal electro-pop” (Stereogum) sound, Ecliptic is defined by pumping bass, gliding synths, syncopated beats, and silky vocals.

“Meteor” delivers a fresh, dark, fearless sound that coincides with the video’s extraterrestrial aesthetic and futuristic glam. The video comes out today, September 4th, when Mercury is at its Greatest Eastern Elongation. This is the best time to view Mercury since it will be at its highest point above the horizon in the evening sky.

Beca has traveled the world and performed with an array of artists while developing her own path and voice.
