Adam Lambert will start recording X Factor Australia soon.

It was recently confirmed that the singer will join Iggy Azalea and Guy Sebastian on the show's new series this year.

The US star has just come off the back of a solo tour and summer Queen shows, but it seems Lambert is heading straight to work on the X Factor.

A fan asked on Sunday (June 26): "Do you get a little break now, or go right to X-Factor?"

Lambert replied: "Breaks are for pussies."

The singer also changed his top cover photo on Twitter to the X Factor logo.

The 'Original High' star previously commented about his new role:

"I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest.

“Australia has always been one of my favourite places to tour. The Aussies I’ve met are so kind and good humoured - so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is very exciting."
