Ne-Yo to become superhero

Ne-Yo is to be immortalised in a graphic novel to celebrate the release of his forthcoming album, 'Libra Scale'.

With the help of Marvel comics legend Stan Lee, who co-created the characters Spider-Man and The Hulk, Ne-Yo will play a man named Jerome who has superpowers but is told he cannot fall in love. That is until he meets his match in the form of a (no doubt sexy) villain, Diamond Eyes.

The R&B star has always proclaimed his love of comic books so can hardly contain himself at the thought of this new project.

“It’s cool that I can take this comic element of myself and blend it to the music element. I got to draw characters myself,” he said.

‘Libra Scale’ will be released on November 1.
