Britney Spears has denied that she walked off the set of X Factor USA in anger.

Some reports had suggested that Spears left the judges' table last night in Texas (May 24) after a contestant allegedly butchered her song 'Hold It Against Me'.

Spears took to Twitter to confirm that she did indeed leave the table - but only to take a short break. She said:

"#Britneywalksoff‬??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!"

The pop singer had previously tweeted that the Texas audition indeed was full of talent. She said:

"Texas has a lot of talent - seriously! Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far..."
