Britney Spears has expressed her delight after her new will.i.am collaboration hit No.1 on the UK iTunes chart.

The pair recently teamed up for the second time for the track 'Scream & Shout', which is taken from the Black Eyed Peas man's forthcoming new record '#willpower'.

The song proved a success in the US and it seems it has a similar impact in the UK, with the single release date moved forward as a result.

Tweeting about the track, Britney Spears tweeted:

"Hearing #ScreamAndShout is #1 on iTunes in the UK. @iamwill, are you over there buying up tons of singles ;)."

She continued: "SOOO much love to all of our UK fans for supporting the song. Love you all."
