Calvin Harris is the first headline act named for this year's Glasgow Summer Sessions.

The DJ and producer will top the bill August 30 at the city's Bellahouston Park.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of promoters DF Concerts said: "Following on from his incredibly memorable headline performance at last year’s T in the Park, this will be Calvin’s first headline at an outdoor show in Scotland [this year] – so we are thrilled that it will be at Glasgow Summer Sessions.

"Calvin has previously played two sell-out dates at The Hydro and has toured the world playing his chart-topping tracks, so this will be an incredible gig that shouldn’t be missed."

Last year's Summer Sessions event saw The Killers and David Guetta take to the stage.
