Propaganda is ever expanding not just in the UK but globally hosting weekly nights in Australia and one in Brazil plus an annual residency in Ibiza. Continuing on it’s path of rock and roll world domination Propaganda launches it’s first event in Switzerland as part of The International Radio Festival at Kaufleuten Festaal Pelikanplatz, Zurich with DJ sets from members of Bloc Party, The Libertines, Propaganda DJs and a surprise special guest!

DJ Dan is the creator of Propaganda, he was also Oasis' aftershow DJ and has continued to DJ for Noel Gallagher and played aftershow parties for The Stone Roses and The Prodigy. He has DJed around the world including across Europe and in Australia, America, Brazil and Malaysia. DJ Dan says “I am really excited to be bringing Propaganda to Zurich for the first time and to be working with the International Radio Festival. I’m really thrilled that we’ve been able to bring members of Bloc Party and The Libertines over to DJ at the event”.

6 months ago Propaganda launched it’s own Saturday night radio show on XFM. XFM is the UK’s biggest alternative commercial music station playing ‘music that rocks’ to over a million listeners, the show is hosted by one of Propaganda’s resident DJ’s Gabby Sanderson. DJ Dan found Gabby DJing for all the bands after parties at Ibiza Rocks and before she joined the Propaganda team, when not spinning in Ibiza, she could be found DJing in London’s hippest underground bars and clubs and at many of the UK festivals.

Gabby Sanderson is no stranger to Switzerland and this year sees her third as host for The International Radio Festival. Gabby will be showcasing the Propaganda XFM show on The International Radio Festival airwaves Saturday evening 7-9pm. Gabby along with DJ Dan and guests Russell Lissack from Bloc Party and Gary Powell from The Libertines will be getting the party started early live on air and invite you to come and meet them for a drink as they warm up to the main event.

What the bands say about Propaganda

Dan Smith, BastilleDJing for Propaganda was genuinely one of the most fun nights we’ve ever had. There were so so many people in the room, everyone kept shouting ‘Play Pompeii!’ We’d love to DJ again soon.

Gary Powell, LibertinesWe had an absolutely amazing time playing for Propaganda as part of a DJ tour, the crazy crowds, the amazing music, stage invasions, late night hospital visits, early morning McDonalds trips and hanging out with the Propaganda crew. It was A LOT of fun’

Jon McClure, Reverend and the Makers I’ve enjoyed many a Propaganda, I’ve even had a bounce on a bouncy castle in a Propaganda... come to think of it there’s not much I haven’t done at one of the nights! Propaganda is about one of the only places left where you can scream along to the words of your favourite songs in your mates face.’

Jamie Maccoll, Bombay Bicycle Club ‘It’s a little hazy when I think back on DJing for Propaganda, we’ve done quite a few now. Let’s just say we always have a very good time...’
