Justin Bieber cleared in 'marijuana' flight investigation

Justin Bieber won't face any punishment for alleged bad behaviour on a private flight earlier this year.

The singer boarded a flight with his dad Jeremy at the end of January from Canada to the States ahead of the Super Bowl.

However, a report from the journey said that pilots had to wear oxygen masks because of marijuana fumes and that the travellers were abusive to staff.

The Federal Aviation Administration looked into the claims, but they have now confirmed in a statement that no action will be forthcoming.

They said: "The FAA closed its investigation into allegations that passengers interfered with the flight crew on a Gulfstream G-Iv aircraft that landed at Teterboro Airport on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. The FAA found no evidence that the passengers violated Federal Aviation Regulations."
