Justin Bieber extends lead in UK Christmas No.1 race

Justin Bieber looks even more certain to land this year's UK Christmas No.1 single.

On Monday (December 21) the Canadian's 'Love Yourself' was around 3,000 copies ahead of its nearest rival, Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir’s 'A Bridge Over You'.

The Official Charts Company confirmed on Tuesday (December 22) that Bieber's lead has now stretched to 7,000 copies.

This makes the 21-year-old odds-on to land the Christmas No.1 title on Friday (December 25).

Bieber's hit track 'Sorry' meanwhile sticks at No.3, while X Factor winner Louisa Johnson is now No.7.

The Canadian's tracks feature on the singer's 2015 album 'Purpose'.
