Justin Bieber pays tribute to Orlando shooting victims at gig

Justin Bieber paid tribute to every victim of the recent Orlando gay club shooting during a gig in the city on Thursday (June 30).

The singer also honoured slain Voice singer Christina Grimmie, who was shot and killed in June outside an Orlando venue while signing autographs.

During a performance of his song 'Purpose', Bieber's video screen started revealing the names of the 49 victims of the Pulse club shooting, as well as Grimmie's.

The Canadian also told the audience: "You’ve been through a lot here, and my heart goes out to all the families. You can’t take down Orlando."

Speaking on Twitter after the Amway Center show, Bieber added:

"Thank you for tonight. Don't ever be afraid to be yourself. #OrlandoStrong."
