Justin Bieber has been ordered by local authorities to remove a piece of graffiti left on a wall at an Australian hotel.

The Canadian left a cartoon drawing on an external wall at a Gold Coast hotel recently, and he had permission to do so by the hotel itself.

Whilst they said on Facebook they are "stoked" to have Bieber's work on one of their walls, the Gold Coast City Council has deemed it a public eyesore.

They told the BBC: "The city has a zero tolerance approach to graffiti. The mayor will contact the hotel to say that if Justin Bieber does not want to use the free graffiti removal kit left with him, then the hotel is expected to use it. If not, we will send council compliance officers to ensure the mess is taken care of."

It's not the first time Bieber has been in trouble over graffiti. The singer was recently charged by police after spraying paint on a disused wall in Brazil. Watch Justin Bieber preview his 'All That Matters' video below:
