Katy Perry has revealed that she isn't one for taking a puff or two of marijuana.

The singer told GQ magazine that she doesn't like the drug and stays clear of it when she's around it.

The 'Unconditionally star said: "I can't do that stuff. I'd be like in the corner: 'Are you trying to kill me?!'."

Perry meanwhile said in the same interview that she used to busk at a farmers' market in an effort to land some money and food. She revealed:

"I'd go to the farmers’ market in Santa Barbara, and I’d put out my guitar case, and I’d test out these little ditty songs that I would write, and I would get a couple of avocados, a bag of pistachios, and, like, fifteen bucks. That was a lot of money for me.”

The singer meanwhile dons the cover of GQ and she is seen flaunting her her chest in a bikini style top.

The magazine hits shelves in the UK on January 28.
