Katy Perry kicked off her California Dreams Tour last night (February 20) in Portugal and surprised her audience with a medley of cover songs. 

Taking a breather from her high octane stage show in Lisbon, the 'Teenage Dream' star sat down to perform renditions of Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World)', Jay-Z's 'Big Pimpin'' and Willow Smith's 'Whip My Hair'. 

She tweeted after the gig:

"OMG! What a KICK OFF! PORTUGAL you were EVERYTHING I needed for the start! MILANO... I see U NXT!"
