Nile Rodgers praises 'smoking' Queen and Adam Lambert show

Nile Rodgers has lavished praise on one of Queen and Adam Lambert's recent gigs.

The band are currently touring North America with Lambert on vocals and their hit-strewn set has been going down a storm.

Guitarist Rodgers - who has previously worked with the singer - checked out the group's gig in New Jersey on Wednesday (July 23).

He met up with Lambert backstage and took to Twitter to gush about the show.

Posting a picture of himself with the vocal powerhouse, Rodgers said: "Adam Lambert & me in his dressing room before the Queen concert at the Izod Center. They completely smashed it!"

Speaking to a Twitter user who mentioned Queen are coming to Japan later in the year, the Chic man added:

"Yeah, he told me they're coming to Japan soon and he can't wait. The show was mega. I hope you are well."

The guitarist later said that Queen and Lambert were "smoking".
