Ed Sheeran, Hozier and Clean Bandit win at the Ivor Novello AwardsThe 2015 Ivor Novello Awards ceremony was held this afternoon (May 21) at Grosvenor House hotel in Mayfair and the event saw Clean Bandit, Ed Sheeran and Hozier win prizes. Clean Bandit took home two honours for their worldwide hit 'Rather Be', Ed Sheeran picked up the Songwriter of the Year award, and Hozier's anthemic offering 'Take Me To Church' was given the Best Song (musically and lyrically) gong. Other music stars who were honoured at the ceremony include Bombay Bicycle Club, Manic Street Preachers, Black Sabbath, and Annie Lennox, and the full list of winners from today can be seen below. Sheeran, meanwhile, posted a photograph of his hand holding the award etched with his name on Instagram (pictured above left) and accompanied the shot with the following caption: Honoured to have won songwriter of the year at the Ivor novellos, so so cool."
