Simon Fuller: 'Victoria Beckham wasn't happy in the Spice Girls'

Former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller has revealed that Victoria Beckham felt uncomfortable a part of the group.

He told press at the Business Innovation Awards in Los Angeles that she was never truly happy as part of the girl power band: "She never felt comfortable. She could sing pretty well, she could dance pretty well, but she always felt uncomfortable.'

He went onto add that she turned to him for advice at one point and he knew that fashion was her main love: "It was one of those things that you get this kind of clarity of vision. I've known Victoria since she was 18 and her passion in life was always clothes. She was called Posh Spice because she always wore the best dresses and she knew everything about clothes."

The Spice Girls, meanwhile, recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough hit 'Wannabe' and it's unknown if they will do anything to commemorate the milestone.

Mel B told America's Meredith Vieira that a reunion would only happen if all five members were on board: "If we do something, it has to be all of us. That's the whole point [...] I'm forcing them a little bit. I've been saying it for five years - 'We are reuniting, aren't we?' Well, we need to."
