Amelia Lily opens up about album release cancellation: 'I want it to be perfect'

Former 'X Factor' finalist Amelia Lily has opened up about the reasons behind her forthcoming album's release date cancellation amid reports that she has been dropped by her record label.

'Be A Fighter', which is Lily's debut offering, was originally scheduled to drop on April 28 through Sony Records and was then moved to May 20. After failing to make that date the record was pushed back to July 29, but the beauty has now posted a message to her fans telling them that the release has now been cancelled:

"Guys I wanted to let you know what's happening...over the last few months I’ve been writing loads of new material and I’ve now decided that I need to go back into the studio and spend some more time working on my debut album, I want it to be perfect for you all!"

She added: "I will update you all on my progress, stay tuned. I’m excited!!!!!!!!!"
