Richard and Adam set for third week at No.1 in the UK

Britain's Got Talent duo Richard and Adam have managed to cling onto their No.1 position during today's (August 14) midweek albums chart update.

The singers' debut record, 'The Impossible Dream', remains at the top despite facing tough competition from the likes of White Lies (pictured below, centre) with 'Big TV', which entered this afternoon at No.2, and Rudimental with 'Home' (No.3).

Paramore's new self-titled effort has made an appearance at No.40, Ed Sheeran's '+' is back in the UK Top 40 at No.37, and Taylor Swift's 'Red' has climbed 1 place to sit at No.34. Elsewhere on the chart, P!nk's 'The Truth About Love' has dropped 2 to No.26, Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' has shot up 9 positions to 24, and Kodaline's 'In A Perfect World' has risen 20 spots to No.20.

Duo Richard and Adam have addressed the exciting news on their Twitter page and wrote: "On our way to a third week at number 1… this is crazy. Thank you all very much for your support xx." The official positions will be confirmed this coming Sunday, August 18.
