Ne-Yo sworn to secrecy over new Beyoncé album

Ne-Yo has admitted that he might endure the wrath of Jay-Z if he reveals details about Beyoncé's new album.

The music maestro has been working on new music with the '4' star recently as excitement surrounds Beyoncé's return to music following the birth of her first child nearly a year ago.

However, it seems he is keeping details of their sessions hush hush in order to please her husband Jay-Z. Speaking about the new material, Ne-Yo told MTV:

"I can't say what kind of vibe. I can't. I can't give it away. I've been sworn to secrecy. Come on! Jay-Z is not a person you want mad at you! I got to be quiet!"

Ne-Yo, who worked on the former Destiny's Child star's 2006 track 'Irreplaceable', added that Beyoncé still very much holds her determination to make good music, revealing:

"It's pretty much, she's had the exact same drive that she's always had. She's not a person that slacks off in the studio. I mean it's not like slave labour or nothing like that; she's not cracking the whip. But it's definitely 'Let's get the job done; let's get the best song possible produced or written out of this experience'. And it's the exact same thing now."

Beyoncé meanwhile is set to perform at this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 3.
