Noel Gallagher has unveiled his highly anticipated debut solo single, 'The Death of You and Me'. 

The former Oasis superstar released both the audio and video this morning, July 25, and it will be the first track to be taken from his forthcoming album, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', which is due to be made available on October 17 through his own label, Sour Mash. 

The song itself has a melancholic yet uplifting melody that is laid over a layered and uptempo backing. It's a fantastic offering for his first solo effort and is as engaging visually as musically.
