Olly Murs is No.1 with 'Dance With Me Tonight'

Olly Murs has made quite an impact in the UK singles chart this afternoon, November 23, during the midweek with his new offering 'Dance With Me Tonight'.

Tweeting about his chart success, he wrote: "YESSSSS!! #1 in the midweeks but Rihanna today has closed the gap!! Still sooooo close!! NEED HELP KEEPING IT THERE!! COME ON TEAM!!"

The former X Factor finalist has shot straight in at No.1 with his new single, knocking Rihanna and Calvin Harris' collaborative track, 'We Found Love', down a place to No.2.

Talented singer-songwriter Murs has, according to the Official Charts Company, taken "an early lead" in the UK Top 40 and if it continues to sell at a steady pace will maintain its place until the positions are confirmed on Sunday, November 27.

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland's 'Down For Whatever' has entered at No.4, Avicii's 'Levels' is new in at No.5 and Rebecca Ferguson has debuted at No.8 with her stunning debut offering 'Nothing's Real But Love'.

Rihanna's new album's title track, 'Talk That Talk', has made an appearance at No.34 and the full-length record itself is currently the UK's No.1
