Cheeky singer Olly Murs has shared details of his forthcoming new UK single with his online following.

Writing to his 4.2million Twitter fans earlier this afternoon (April 18), the 'Troublemaker' star explained that his new offering was co-written by Ed Drewett and he plans to shoot the video for it very soon:

"NEW UK single is.. (Drum roll) a little tune myself, @Eddrewett & Jim Eliot wrote 'Dear Darlin' fav song from album!! Doing Vid next wk."

Murs also confirmed that he will be hosting a Google+ 'hangout' this afternoon, adding: "Doing a Google hangout in 1HR!!! 1st time I've done one.. Be cool & weird seeing everyones faces around the world at the same time.."

Drewett (pictured below), who featured on Professor Green's breakthrough hit 'I Need You Tonight', also tweeted about the impending release: "It's official! @ollyofficial's next single is 'DEAR DARLIN', written by Myself, Olly & Jim Elliot! This songs deserves to be heard by all x."
