Robyn on Röyksopp collaboration: 'I was depressed and in therapy at the time'

Hitmaker Robyn has revealed that her project with Röyksopp, which resulted in their collaborative mini-album 'Do It Again', came about during a bout of depression that was full of creativity.

Speaking to the NME about the joint offering, the 'Call Your Girlfriend' star explained that it happened at a time when she was dealing with some issues, but surprisingly it was also a very productive period in her life:

"I was super-tired and kind of depressed and had started therapy. I really wanted to make music, and I had lots of ideas, but I didn't want to force anything, or create a concept of what the next album was going to be; I just wanted to collaborate with people."

Earlier this month, Robyn admitted that her next album is 'nowhere near complete' although progress is being made on it: "I've started working again. I don't know what it will be - it's too early to say if it's going to be an album or an EP. I don't even know if it's going to be my own music. We shall see."
