Jennifer Lawrence surprised Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes last night (January 12) by interrupting one of her interviews.

The singer was on the red carpet speaking to Ryan Seacrest when the actress was spotted slowly walking up the steps beyond Swift.

She then entered the interview before saying: "I was going to come in and push you down the stairs."

The 'Red' star replied: "People would love that."

The pair then joked about Lawrence having never been invited to one of Swift's concerts.

Seacrest posted online a photo of Lawrence walking up the stairs with a comedy face on, with the media man saying:

"The single most important photo from the #goldenglobes red carpet."

Swift meanwhile failed to win the Best Original Song Golden Globe for her song 'Sweeter Than Fiction', with the prize going to U2.
