Taylor Swift talks fan distraction

Country songstress Taylor Swift says although fan signs are "adorable", she often gets distracted by them during gigs.

The '22' star has a loyal bunch of fans who bring along words of encouragement to hold up during her concerts.

Although she appreciates the signs, 23-year-old Swift admits it can be really off-putting.

Explaining in an interview with British newspaper The Sun she said: “It’s amazing and adorable, but if there’s a really long sign and I’m trying to read it while I’m on stage I’ll start singing the lines of the sign."

Swift is often left bemused by some of her fans' messages.

She added: “They’re all kind of a little strange. Sometimes there are giant signs of my cat’s face. I look out and there’s a giant cat.”

Swift is currently on her 'Red' tour, which comes to an end in Australia in December. Pal and fellow musician Ed Sheeran is supporting her on the road. Watch the pair duet on 'Britain's Got Talent' here:
