Designer Victoria Beckham has expanded her growing fashion empire with the exciting launch of an optical line.

Despite previously admitting that she doesn't like to be photographed wearing prescription glasses, the star has now created her own range of stunning eyewear and told Women's Wear Daily that it's great to finally have several pairs that she actually likes:

"I do need to wear glasses — [but] I haven’t found glasses that suit me or that I particularly like. I’ve always been quite self-conscious [about this], so that’s why I’ve decided to do them myself.”

"I will be wearing my glasses now, and it will be nice to see where I will be going for once."

Beckham joined forces with Cutler & Gross on the six-piece optical collection and she will officially debut the range in Silmo Paris on October 4. They will be sold in Harrods in the UK.
