To kick off the holiday season, ABC Radio announces a three-hour country music special, “Holiday Season Serenade,” hosted by country music star Martina McBride, and a three-hour special titled “America Gives Thanks.” These two specials will be available over the Thanksgiving weekend.

In the three-hour country music special, “Holiday Season Serenade,” country star Martina McBride will take a look at stars’ holiday favorites including food, decorations, traditions, gifts and music. The special will feature Christmas songs by top country artists such as Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Brett Eldredge, Chris Young, Scotty McCreery and more.

The three-hour special “America Gives Thanks,” hosted by ABC News correspondent Aaron Katersky, will highlight tales of prosperity, hope and kindness that Americans across the country have experienced. It will feature stories of Americans in diverse situations including survivors of wildfires, students from Africa given a chance to succeed in the United States and recipients of kidney transplants.
