The trip kicked off this morning Monday, Nov. 7, down in Atlanta. Chef Kelli Ferrell of Nana’s Chicken N Waffles whipped up her recipe for southern pimento grilled cheese, and the hosts connected with Richard Elliot from WSB-TV Channel 2 to hear all about what is happening in the Big Peach. Plus, Laverne Cox and ABC’s “The Connors” star Sara Gilbert were live in studio. Tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 8, the hosts turn up the Florida heat by virtually visiting Tampa. And Linda Hurtado from WTVT Fox 13 will dish on all the happenings in Tampa. Then, actress Constance Zimmer chats live in studio with Kelly and Ryan. Cleveland is the next celebrated city on the road trip on Wednesday, Nov. 9, with chef Michael Symon preparing a taste of Cleveland with his pork braised stew. Plus, Kelly and Ryan touch base with Danita Harris from WEWS-TV’s News 5 to hear all that is hot in Cleveland. And the legendary Sylvester Stallone plus actor Judd Hirsch catch up with the hosts in studio. Kelly and Ryan are then California-dreamin’ on Thursday, Nov. 10, taking the virtual road trip to the city by the bay, San Francisco. Chef Francis Ang of Abacá Restaurant will cook up a Filipino-Californian inspired culinary treat, and Drew Tuma from KGO’s ABC7 will wake up the hosts with the latest from San Francisco.
