High-end hustle and multi-million-pound mansions galore as trailer gives first-look glimpse of new BBC Two series Crazy Rich Agents: Selling Dream Homes – coming to BBC Two and iPlayer from Sunday 6 August.

Five newbie luxury estate agents have given up their old jobs to try and make it in the world of high-end housing. At stake: the chance to take home commission on million-pound mansions in the UK and beyond.

There’s a former care home behavioural therapist, an international model, a building society worker, a Dubai estate agent, and a former music producer: their backgrounds are unique, but they all want to become luxury real estate’s next big thing.

We follow the rookies over the so-called ‘summer killing season’ as they try and win luxury listings, throw extravagant open houses, and charm millionaire clients. But they soon find out that the commission is hard won with sales falling through and difficult VIP clients.

Working for Nest Seekers’ new London branch, the newbies have given up not just their jobs but their salaries too: they only get paid if they make a sale. Who will survive long enough to take home a paycheck, and who will decide the high-end hustle isn’t for them?
