One of the biggest events in the sporting calendar - the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup - is taking place in India from Thursday 5 October until Sunday 19 November.

Following the record numbers tuning into the Ashes across the BBC this summer - 27.3 million listener requests for TMS and 500 million page views on the BBC Sport Website - the BBC is once again bringing audiences all the action.

Jonathan Agnew leads the commentary team and is joined by World Cup winners Carlos Brathwaite and Alex Hartley, plus former England players Steven Finn and Michael Vaughan. Other commentators include Prakash Wakankar, Simon Mann, Daniel Norcross, Nikesh Rughani, Henry Moeran, Geoff Lemon, Melissa Story and Aatif Nawaz, plus expert summarisers like former Australia captain Aaron Finch, legendary New Zealand wicketkeeper Ian Smith and World Cup winner Ramiz Raja.

The TMS Podcast becomes a World Cup daily with all the news from India every day of the tournament. Plus the podcast inside the England camp, Good Pace for Radio, returns with Mark Wood and Chris Woakes, who’ll be bringing exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the England squad. The pair will be joined by Tymal Mills and Steve Finn throughout the series, which is available on BBC Sounds.
