Chanel has reached third place in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, held at Turin's Olympic Palace. Scoring a total of 459 points, her performance marks the best result for Spain in 27 years.

The winner of this year's contest were Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra, soaring to first place with 631 points. Sam Ryder came second for the UK.

Chanel’s hit single ‘SloMo’ is a dance/pop track with Latin and urban touches and was written by Leroy Sánchez, Keith Harris, Ibere ​​Fortes, Maggie Szabos, and Arjen Thonen. The song has generated over 29.4 million global streams to date.

Said Chanel on her Instagram page: "I will remember this for the rest of my life. Just landed at home receiving the warmth of my loved ones. Thanks for the support and passion!"

After winning the national selection, the Benidorm Fest held at the Palau L'Illa in Alicante, the Spanish singer of Cuban origin was selected to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
