‘Ella Baila Sola’, the historic Regional Mexican chart-topping song is making history again at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards scoring two of the most prestigious songwriter awards nominations for BMG’s publishing partner and DEL Records songwriter Pedro Tovar.

‘Ella Baila Sola’ earned nominations in both Song of the Year and Best Regional Mexican Song categories for one of the year’s hottest songs. A sierreño song, performed by DEL Records artist Eslabon Armado with Peso Pluma, ‘Ella Baila Sola’ made history by becoming the first Regional Mexican song to score a Top 5 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, also topping the Billboard Global 200 chart for six weeks.

Eslabon Armado’s album Desvelado peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 and also scored the Mexican-American group their sixth Number One on the Regional Mexican Albums chart.

Additonally, BMG songwriter Ali Stone earned a nomination for Best Pop/Rock Song with ‘Señorita Revolución’, performed by Bruses.

The 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards are set to take place for the first time outside the US, in Seville, Spain, on November 16, 2023.
